Our client, a leading financial services organization specializing in risk management and derivatives, is seeking a Sr Product Owner to join their team. As a Sr Product Owner, you will be part of the Risk Management Department supporting trading, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Lead and deliver complex, large-scale horizontal projects within the risk management and derivatives domain.
- Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and quantitative teams to ensure accurate and timely risk reporting and analysis.
- Support system validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment planning for risk engine enhancements.
- Provide business analysis support, explaining and justifying risk, P/L, and GL numbers to stakeholders.
- Participate in regulatory initiatives and coordinate with technology teams for system improvements and compliance.
What's Needed?
- At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment within financial services or related fields.
- Deep understanding of fixed income and equity derivatives pricing, credit, and rates instruments.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Quantitative educational background (Math, Physics, Engineering) with strong analytical skills.
- Experience working with traders, risk managers, model validation teams, and regulatory bodies.
