Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join their team. As a Tax Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Payroll Tax Compliance department supporting state unemployment insurance and payroll tax processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to accuracy, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

What's the Job?
- Manage state unemployment insurance (SUI) and payroll tax compliance activities, including remittances and reporting.
- Engage proactively with taxing agencies to address inquiries, rate adjustments, and account closures.
- Procure and validate SUI rates from state agencies during release cycles and conduct research on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate quarterly and year-end tax closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and update compliance procedures and manage critical control reports.
What's Needed?
- A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience.
- At least three years of experience in multistate tax environments and large-scale system tax management.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple critical tasks efficiently.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Payroll, Tax, and external agencies.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
