Our client, a leading organization in the technology and telecommunications industry, is seeking a Network Administrator to join their team. As a Network Administrator, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the network infrastructure and hardware procurement processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing complex projects, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of networking hardware such as routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Oversee inventory control, perform hardware order tracking, and forecast future hardware needs based on historical data.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, procurement, finance, and third-party suppliers to ensure timely and funded hardware orders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for hardware requests from engineers and technical teams.
- Provide weekly metrics, reporting, and work to improve hardware delivery times with suppliers.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 6+ years of project management experience, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Extensive vendor management and supplier relations experience, including analyzing data sets and communicating trends effectively.
- At least 6+ years of experience in ordering hardware, working with major suppliers, and coordinating with procurement and finance teams.
- Strong inventory management skills, including tracking, forecasting, and performing hardware drawdowns.
- Experience with network hardware ordering and familiarity with industry industry trends is highly desirable.
