AS400 Administrator

Our client, is seeking a AS400 /IBM i Infrastructure Analyst to join their team. As a AS400 /IBM i Infrastructure Analyst, you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting system administration and infrastructure management.  

Job Title: AS400 /IBM i Infrastructure Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85012

Pay Range:$55-$60 per hour
 

What's the Job?

• Manage and maintain IBM i (AS400) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement AS400 programming solutions using RPG, CL, and SQL.
• Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
• Coordinate system backups, recovery processes, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system modernization and integration efforts.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with IBM i (AS400) systems administration and management.
• Proficiency in AS400 programming languages such as RPG, CL, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of IBM System architecture and infrastructure components.
• Experience with system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and job scheduling.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery tools, security best practices, and compliance standards for IBM i environments.
