Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Reporting Analyst to support  an organization through a period of data and reporting transformation. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical teams to support reporting requests, data analysis initiatives, and ongoing platform migrations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on SQL experience, advanced Excel capabilities, and exposure to Power BI reporting environments. This role requires someone who is comfortable gathering requirements from business stakeholders, analyzing data from multiple sources, and supporting reporting needs that drive business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into actionable reporting requests and data requirements.
  • Utilize SQL to query, extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Support ongoing reporting and analytics initiatives related to CRM and data platform transformations.
  • Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure timely delivery of reporting requests and data extracts.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Leverage Excel and Power BI to organize, analyze, and present data insights.
  • Support migration efforts from legacy reporting platforms to Power BI environments.
  • Track reporting requests, stakeholder needs, and project deliverables while proactively communicating risks and issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Reporting Analysis, Data Analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries, extract data, and perform analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience working with Power BI reporting environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data findings.
  • Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Commercial, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare organizations.
  • Exposure to CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva CRM, or Vault CRM.
  • Experience supporting reporting migrations, platform transformations, or data modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Qlik reporting environments.
