Digital Solutions Architect

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, is seeking a Digital Solutions Architect to join their team. As a Digital Solutions Architect, you will be part of the Digital Quality department supporting data-driven insights and strategic architecture development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Digital Solutions Architect

Location: Remote to EST and CST time zones

Pay Range: $90

What's the Job?

• Optimize and enhance the current Power BI architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, and modeling layers from systems like TrackWise, SAP, and Documentum.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports utilizing data from Quality Management Systems.
• Establish best practices for semantic model design, dataset reuse, dataflows, and gold layer datasets to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Define architectural patterns that enable self-service analytics while maintaining governance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with reporting needs and digital quality strategies, providing technical leadership on cloud integrations such as Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in data and analytics architecture, with at least 3 years in Power BI enterprise architecture roles.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft Power BI stack, including semantic models, dataflows, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience assessing current architecture, defining future reference architecture, and recommending governance and best practices for Power BI and semantic models.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity principles as they apply to analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
