Our client is seeking a dedicated Electronics Validation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Electronics Validation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Validation Department supporting vehicle electronics development and testing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electronics Validation Engineer

Location: Irvine, California (On Site)

What's the Job?

  • Develop detailed design verification and characterization test plans for ECU programs, collaborating with reliability, design, and firmware teams.
  • Lead the execution of characterization testing plans to meet project milestones and ensure quality standards.
  • Perform bench-level characterization at IC and PCBA levels, analyzing test data to ensure compliance.
  • Provide early feedback to design engineers regarding design decisions and testability improvements.
  • Create automation scripts and instrumentation drivers using Python to streamline testing processes.

What's Needed?

  • BS/MS or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in electronics characterization and validation testing.
  • Proficiency with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and vehicle electrical systems.
  • Experience with scripting and data analysis using Python.
