Senior API Engineer x2

Our Financial Services client is seeking a API Engineer to join their team. As a API Engineer, the ideal candidate will have Golang, Python and GCP which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: API Engineer 

Location: Charlotte, NC 

What’s the Job?

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years experience
• Experience leading large projects/teams
• Strong backend engineering focus

Technical Skills:

• Preferred languages:
  • Go (Golang), Python
  • Java acceptable if strong
  • Nice-to-have: Rust, C++
• Cloud & tools:
  • GCP (preferred)
  • Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Linux
  • CI/CD (Git)
• Data technologies:
  • Relational (Postgres, Oracle)
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, BigQuery, Bigtable)
  • Redis (nice-to-have)

Work Context:

• Building real-time, scalable APIs
• APIs support:
  • AI/ML models
  • Data services integrations
