Senior Cloud Architect – Azure & Terraform -Chandler, AZ

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect – Azure & Terraform to join their team. As a Senior Cloud Architect – Azure & Terraform, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting Cloud Engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Role: Senior Cloud Architect – Azure & Terraform
Location: Chandler, AZ 85224 (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?

• Design and implement software solutions aligned with the organization's cloud strategy
• Collaborate across technology teams to create innovative solutions
• Ensure code quality adheres to standards for security, accessibility, and performance
• Conduct unit and integration testing to validate software functionality
• Participate actively in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings

What's Needed?

• Experience with writing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Deep knowledge of Azure Networking components and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with cloud security frameworks and tools like Azure Policy, Azure Defender, and Azure Sentinel
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Maven and Jenkins
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Cloud Engineering
