Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Software Asset Management Consultant to join their team. As a Software Asset Management Consultant, you will be part of the Software Asset Management department supporting enterprise-wide software compliance and asset optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Software Asset Management Consultant
Location: Chandler, AZ/ Charlotte, NC/ Minneapolis, MN (3 days onsite every week)
Pay Range: $65
What's the Job?
- Perform software license compliance analysis and apply license rules to determine compliance status
- Support license reconciliations for strategic and non-strategic vendors
- Analyze software contracts and licensing agreements to interpret terms, restrictions, and entitlements
- Perform daily research and analysis of software asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Utilize workflow tools such as ServiceNow to execute SAM/SLC processes and maintain documentation for audit readiness
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience supporting or managing medium-scale technology efforts within a business
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or software license compliance functions
- Working knowledge of software license models, contract analysis, and data troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Gemini
