Our client, a leading organization in the data center and technology infrastructure sector, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager 5 to join their team. As a Procurement Category Manager 5, you will be part of the procurement department supporting multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent negotiation abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $55/hr W2 + Benefits (NO C2C)
What's the Job?
- Manage end-to-end procurement execution for datacenter mechanical equipment, including technical submittals, supplier coordination, change orders, and contract execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for procurement activities across multiple projects, ensuring schedule, quality, and contractual compliance.
- Coordinate technical reviews, clarify requirements, and ensure documentation quality and alignment with project specifications.
- Prepare and execute change orders, facilitate purchase agreement approvals, and support contract revisions.
- Identify and resolve issues related to engineering delays, stakeholder delays, supplier responsiveness, and technical discrepancies, escalating risks proactively.
What's Needed?
- Technical document management experience, including lifecycle management of submittals and revisions.
- Understanding of construction procurement processes, especially change order execution.
- Strong organizational skills to track procurement status and project milestones.
- Ability to analyze technical data, financial reports, and price proposals accurately.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing and supply chain management.
