Inventory Specialist

Our client, a government agency dedicated to supporting the judicial system in Idaho, is seeking a Inventory Specialist to join their team. As a Inventory Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the management of organizational assets and resources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Boise, Idaho

Pay Range:$20+ (based on experience)

What's the Job?

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment, supplies, materials, and organizational assets.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, distributions, and disposals.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient access and accountability.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical audits to verify inventory accuracy.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some inventory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical inventory counts.
