Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a LAB Research Chemist to join their team. As a LAB Research Chemist, you will be part of the MedSurg Global R and D department supporting innovative medical device development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Research Chemist

Location:Brookings, SD

Pay Range: 30.00/hr

What's the Job?

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to understand upcoming change requirements within Medical Device design documentation.
  • Partner with engineering teams to execute design changes effectively and efficiently.
  • Advance strategic initiatives and support special projects as assigned by leadership.
  • Develop and utilize fundamental project management skills to support global laboratory operations.
  • Create and maintain accurate project tracking tools and status reports to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of experience working within the healthcare industry or medical device quality management systems.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in systems.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, prioritizing responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in all assignments.
