Our client, a leading organization in the retail industry, is seeking an IT Support (POS) to join their team. As an IT Support (POS), you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting retail locations and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Support (POS)
Location: Irving, Texas
Pay Range: $26/hr.
What's the Job?
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network, POS, hardware, and software issues at retail locations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless support and issue resolution.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot errors to maintain optimal operation.
- Document all support activities and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
- Assist with hardware deployments and software installations, guiding field technicians when necessary.
What's Needed?
- Experience supporting enterprise networks, LANs, and end users across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of network components such as routers, switches, gateways, and Wi-Fi equipment.
- Proficiency with POS devices, peripherals, and troubleshooting network and POS issues.
- Experience working with ServiceNow ticketing system and supporting hardware/software deployments.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, with a mostly remote work environment and occasional travel to HQ in DFW.
