Business Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of the project management and IT support teams supporting the implementation of a SaaS low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Provide expert business analysis support throughout all phases of a complex SaaS platform implementation project.
• Facilitate data collection activities, work sessions, and document reviews to accurately capture and refine business requirements and user stories.
• Create detailed process flows for current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and guidance.
• Assist in developing project approval lifecycle (PAL) work products and deliverables, ensuring compliance with state requirements.
• Participate in testing activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting, to ensure solution quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as a business analyst working on large-scale projects within State Agencies or Departments.
• Proven experience facilitating end-to-end business and solution requirements processes, including design workshops and stakeholder approvals.
• Strong background in business process discovery, development of process flow diagrams, and traceability analysis.
• Familiarity with the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) based on CA SIMM 19 Stage 1-4 structure.
• Experience working within waterfall, agile, and hybrid project delivery frameworks, with excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
