Data Center Technician I

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician I to join their team. As a Data Center Technician I, you will be part of the technical support department supporting data center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Data Center Technician I

Location:  Umatilla, OR | Fully onsite

Pay Range:  $27 per hour

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot hardware, test components, and perform repairs using testing rigs and diagnostic tools
• Record test results in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Receive, track, and maintain inventory; check out parts as needed
• Load/unload shipments and transport parts between locations
• Diagnose hardware and basic network issues; perform physical repairs

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
• 1+ years of experience with server/computer hardware components
• Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
• Basic Linux/Unix command line familiarity
• US Citizenship required
