IT - Senior Project Manager (Vendor Engagement)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services and insurance industry, is seeking a IT - Senior Project Manager (Vendor Engagement) to join their team. As a US - Staffing - IT - Senior Project Manager (Vendor Engagement), you will be part of the IT Project Management Office supporting the Small Commercial Underwriting team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT - Senior Project Manager (Vendor Engagement)

Location: Fully remote (must be able to work EST hours; occasional travel a few times per year may be required)

Pay Range: $85 - $90/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Coordinate and facilitate communication among Cross Functional teams and external vendor partners to ensure alignment of project roadmaps and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and escalate critical concerns as needed.
• Partner with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions that meet Client’s security, technical, and compliance standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, maintaining project momentum and addressing obstacles promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring clarity on decisions, outcomes, and next steps for all involved parties.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects, especially involving vendor or third-party integrations.
• Strong ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a remote environment, fostering collaboration and consensus.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices applicable to project execution and integrations.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Office tools.
• PMP Certification
