Communications Specialist 5

Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Communications Specialist 5 to join their team. As a Communications Specialist 5, you will be part of the Marketing Communications Department supporting internal and external communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Communications Specialist 5
Location: Redmond or Puget Sound, WA - 3 days onsite for the first 6 months, potentially remote later
Pay Range: $58/hr to $62/hr on W2
Duration: long-term contract (12 to 18 months)

What's the Job?

  • Lead the development and execution of internal communication strategies to promote organizational initiatives.
  • Create compelling content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and executive communications.
  • Support the planning and coordination of internal and external communication campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage and track communication projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.

What's Needed?

  • 5-8+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or related fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience supporting executive-level messaging.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with internal and external communication channels and tools.
