Data Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the hospitality technology sector, is seeking a Contract and Billing Data Analyst to join their team. As a Contract and Billing Data Analyst, you will be part of the Finance and Operations support team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contract and Billing Data Analyst

Location: New York, NY

Pay Range:$35-40

What's the Job?

  • Review and analyze partner contracts from reservation platforms such as Resy and Tock to identify billing terms and obligations.
  • Extract and document key contract data, including pricing models, subscription fees, and transaction charges, into standardized Excel templates.
  • Reconcile contractual terms against billing data to detect discrepancies and revenue leakage.
  • Perform data entry and validation across large datasets with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Build and maintain Excel trackers, audit logs, and data models to support billing analysis and reporting.

What's Needed?

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, and formulas.
  • Experience in data entry, validation, or audit-related work with structured data and contracts.
  • Ability to interpret contracts and extract key commercial terms accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for handling large datasets.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities to identify discrepancies and issues.
