Thermal Performance Engineer

Our client is seeking a Thermal Performance Engineer to join their team. As a Thermal Performance Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting vehicle development and testing teams.  
 

Job Title: Thermal Performance Engineer (HVAC, Cooling systems)

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Pay Range: $24 - $29 per hr
 

What's the Job?

• Ensure vehicle functional objectives are achieved through thermal system analysis and testing
• Conduct reviews of functional systems including simulation and testing procedures
• Collaborate with program chiefs on cooling system status and development test planning
• Lead communication and reporting of issues, including status updates and resolution tracking
• Support vehicle validation, aero/thermal attributes, and DVP&R testing activities

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience with thermal development, HVAC, or cooling systems
• Knowledge of data acquisition systems and drive cell/wind tunnel testing
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives
