Our clientis seeking a dedicated PMO Support Technical Specialist to join their team. As a PMO Support Technical Specialist, you will be part of the Cross Carline & Project Engineering Team supporting vehicle development programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PMO Support Technical Specialist

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Payrate: $28/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Assist Vehicle Technical Managers with program coordination and oversee technical aspects such as technology, manufacturing, quality, and cost.
  • Manage vehicle composition to ensure core structure integrity and promote product and process integration.
  • Coordinate the creation, organization, and oversight of connections and fasteners, including leading meetings and maintaining dashboards for tracking and escalation.
  • Lead and facilitate Change Management processes, ensuring consistent communication and modification sharing across multiple sites.
  • Organize and synchronize part modifications with project planning to achieve quality convergence.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited university.
  • Automotive industry experience at an OEM or large Tier 1 in product development engineering.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed process thinker.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Advanced to expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with basic skills in CAD and PLM software.
