Our client is seeking a Salesforce Data Migration expert to help with a large internal data migration project.
Job Title: Salesforce Data Migration Tech Lead
Location: Remote from the US
W2 or C2C is acceptable
10+ month contract that can continue to extend
Skills Required
· Evaluate business needs and objectives
· Selecting, preparing, extracting, and transforming data from multiple sources
· Analyzing information, Data extraction, Data transformation to improve data quality
· Analyzing raw data, Developing and maintaining datasets
· Build data systems and pipelines
· Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
· Build algorithms and prototypes
· Combine raw information from different sources
· Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
· Identify opportunities for data acquisition
· Develop analytical tools and programs
· Collaborate with data, integration and technical architects
· Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
· Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
· Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
· Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL and database design
· Great numerical and analytical skills
· Prior experience with data migration to Salesforce
· Good communication and negotiation skills to influence engineering teams
· Migration automation experiences to Salesforce is desired
· Prior Salesforce migration experience; understanding of the salesforce object models; sf migration challenges etc
· Advanced SQL programming and data analysis. People with only Salesforce experience will not help.
· Prior experience leading large migration efforts by clearly defining data cleanup strategies & migration paths
· AWS(Athena, Spark, EMR, S3, Roles and policies), Salesforce experience is a plus
