Senior AWS Engineer (No C2C)

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Senior AWS Engineer to join their team. As a Senior AWS Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Solutions Department supporting innovative cloud infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior AWS Engineer

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay Range: $62-65/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects.
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data.
• Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications, and implement system software tailored to client requirements.
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans, code new programs, and conduct unit testing to ensure quality and performance.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 8+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS resources, including creating lambdas, AWS Step Functions, working with DynamoDB, and navigating AWS CLI/console.
• Proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript preferred), Java, and middleware technologies.
• Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, GitLab, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
