Our client, a leading organization in the technology and government systems sector, is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join their team. As a Senior Product Owner, you will be part of the Agile Release Train (ART) supporting innovative solutions within a SAFe environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite preferred), Denver, CO, Berkley Heights, NJ, or Marietta, GA

Pay Range:$62/hr

What's the Job?

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand and execute the product vision, roadmap, and features.
  • Manage and prioritize the team backlog to maximize value delivery.
  • Define clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning, system demos, and inspect & adapt workshops.
  • Work closely with architects, BAs, and development teams to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.

What's Needed?

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
