Senior Event Logistics Specialist

Our client, a global IT leader, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Event Logistics Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Event Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Events and Logistics department supporting high-profile VIP events and team management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership qualities, which will enable you to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of each event.

Job Title: Senior Event Logistics Specialist

Contract: Long-term open ended

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $90K

What's the Job?

  • Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams to align event objectives with organizational goals, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Identify, contract, and manage a network of reliable vendors such as caterers, AV providers, and transportation services.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including setup, breakdown, transportation, and on-site management.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reports to leadership to ensure cost-effectiveness.

What's Needed?

  • Extensive experience in event management, vendor coordination, and team leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Proven ability to develop contingency plans and manage risks effectively.
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and organizational policies related to event planning and logistics.
