Expression Scientist

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Expression Scientist to join their dynamic team. As an Expression Scientist, you will be an integral part of the Protein Sciences department supporting cutting-edge research and development initiatives. Location: Collegeville, PA

Pay Range:$35.00
Contract: 6 months

What's the Job?

• Design and optimize recombinant protein expression protocols using mammalian and insect cell systems.
• Perform protein purification and analyze protein quality and yield.
• Maintain sterile cell culture techniques to ensure contamination-free experiments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support molecular discovery campaigns and structural studies.
• Document experimental procedures and results accurately for ongoing research and regulatory compliance.

What's Needed?

• 0-2 years of industry experience in protein expression and purification.
• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field.
• Experience with mammalian and insect cell culture techniques.
• Knowledge of E. coli protein expression is a plus.
• Knowledge of sterile cell culturing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
