Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a MNF General Laborer/PIV Operator to join their team. As a MNF General Laborer/PIV Operator, you will be part of the Clarkston Support Operations supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform all duties of a Maintenance Technician to ensure production and auxiliary equipment remain operational and manufacturing processes run efficiently.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using blueprints, equipment manuals, and internet resources while applying advanced skills in areas such as pneumatics, PLCs, machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems.
• Participate in all required safety and regulatory training necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure labor time is accurately entered into maintenance work orders, including detailed descriptions of issue resolution.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED completed prior to start date.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Skilled Technician.
• Ability to work on CNC machining centers and supporting equipment.
• Strong math skills with the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and technical notes.
• Proficiency in the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLCs, machinery, welding, and electrical systems.
