Our client, a leader in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting logistical and inventory management activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2
Location: Aldie, VA
Duraiton: 18 Months on W2
Pay Range: $28 - $31/hr + Benefits & PTO
What's the Job?
- Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
- Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and support regulatory compliance activities
- Manage material movement, shipping, and receiving processes following standard procedures
- Assist in the destruction of data bearing devices following documented procedures and runbooks
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or IT environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
