Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Specialty Software Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Specialty Software Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Specialty Software Engineering department supporting various project initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Specialty Software Engineer 3 - Contingent

Location: Wilmington, DE (2200 Concord Pike)

What's the Job?

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Specialty Software Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze complex Specialty Software Engineering challenges, providing in-depth evaluations
• Assist in resolving issues and collaborate with team members to meet project goals
• Engage with client personnel to ensure successful project execution and delivery

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, training, or education
• 5+ years of SmallTalk development experience
• Experience packaging and deploying applications built with SmallTalk in non-production environments
• Good understanding of OOPS techniques and design principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities
