Contract Location: Sanford, NC (approx. 45 min from Raleigh)
On-site: 5 days/week
Duration: 1-Year Contract
Pay Rate: $32/hr

Overview

We are hiring an IT Support Specialist for a growing manufacturing facility in Sanford, NC. You'll be joining a small IT team supporting an expanding user base, with the opportunity for extension or conversion at the end of the contract term. Most team members commute from the Raleigh area (~45 min–1 hour).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 Windows IT support across facility locations
• Set up laptops, build user profiles in Active Directory, and handle device replacements
• Manage and resolve tickets using ServiceNow
• Support users with application access and day-to-day IT issues
• Assist with Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Windows OS and laptop/hardware support (IBM preferred)
• Active Directory administration
• ServiceNow ticketing experience (required)
• Windows 11 upgrade experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills — highly weighted by the hiring team
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus, not required
