Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a HOLD - Senior Java Developer to join their team. As a HOLD - Senior Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Enterprise Application Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Rockville, Maryland
Pay Range: $85-90/hr depending on years of experience

- Collaborate with product owners and architects to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Design and develop highly available, durable, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.

- Contribute to the enhancement of enterprise-level platforms
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 12 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java core fundamentals, SQL, Spring/Spring Boot, and API development (SOAP and REST).
- Experience working with AWS cloud services is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and continuous integration practices.
