Our client, a leading organization in the technology and communications sector, is seeking a Wireless Operations Engineer to join their team.

As a Wireless Operations Engineer, you will be an integral part of the network support team, ensuring the stability and performance of large-scale wireless environments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, a collaborative attitude, and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality Wi-Fi services, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Wireless Operations Engineer

Location: Centennial, CO (hybrid) 

What's the Job?

• Perform real-time troubleshooting and break/fix support across Wi-Fi core and AAA environments in live production.
• Support AAA services hosted on Linux, including authentication flow triage and incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IPv6, and analyze live packet flows to ensure network integrity.
• Operate and troubleshoot wireless controllers, load balancers, and broadband network edge platforms.
• Develop and enhance automation scripts using Ansible and Python to improve operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Experience in Wi-Fi or network operations with direct ownership of live environment support.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, and OSI model layers up to L7, with proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and IPv6 troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of AAA concepts and Linux command-line operations.
• At least 1 year of automation experience using Ansible and/or Python.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
