Assembler Programmer

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Assembler Programmer to join their team. As a Assembler Programmer, you will be part of the mainframe development support team, working on enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Assembler Programmer

Location:Remote, NC talent preferred or within geo states (NC, SC, GA, TN, VA)

Pay Range:$60.00/hr

What's the Job?

• Support and develop mainframe applications using assembler programming and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and troubleshoot issues
• Perform system analysis, design, and coding for enterprise applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 7 years’ mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding
• Proficiency with z/os assembler programming, CICS, JCL, MVS, and VSAM
• Strong COBOL skills and experience working with tapes and segmented data fields
• Experience with mainframe change management tools and familiarity with FTP/SFTP protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a "get it done" mindset
