Our client, a global leader in office design and solutions, had a 12-month rule in place for co-employment risk mitigation. This rule hampered the ability of business IT managers to complete projects on time and within budget due to forced turnover of contractors. Managers needed to mitigate risk while retaining valuable workers with high degrees of IT experience and knowledge.
Working with the client’s business, legal, and procurement teams, Experis transitioned all vendor personnel on the targeted work streams to Experis under specialized statements of work (SOWs) with service level agreements. We provided onsite contractor management and oversaw each SOW, to meet the needs of the client’s legal department.
Experis implemented a solution that exempted important teams of IT resources from the company’s 12-month co-employment rule. We consolidated 19 workers from multiple vendors into a single, Experis-managed team that maintained service levels and enabled continuous improvements. This solution retained intellectual capital while mitigating co-employment risks. Experis saved the client 5 percent in talent costs annually.
