A global construction and excavation equipment and services corporation needed to improve productivity processes for its mainframe and SAP support organization. The existing processes were expensive and cumbersome, with little consistency and predictability for completing support backlog items.
The client wanted existing resources to be rebadged and housed by a vendor with the intention of establishing support service levels that had not been previously established.
Experis SolutionExperis proposed an outsourcing model to rebadge 24 resources and establish a working environment at offsite facilities to accommodate a Kanban-based Agile Factory framework for backlog initiatives. This initiative is slated to ultimately involve up to 60 resources to support factory system support initiatives.
Rebadging and/or replacement for 24 resources has been accommodated and an Agile Factory framework, from intake through implementation process, and organizational recommendations is being implemented.
Experis will train the Factory resources in the newly adopted Agile frameworks and implement the frameworks through pilot initiatives. Experis has also provided Agile coaching resources to minimize risk and maximize delivery effectiveness.
