Operations Analyst

Our client, Financial Services is seeking a Operations Analyst to join their team. As a Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Trading Operations & Market Data Controls supporting the Trading Desk. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, strong ownership of recurring BAU processes, and the ability to learn and independently execute detailed procedures with minimal repeated guidance, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform daily input and maintenance of market data, including swap rates, spreads, and exchange-traded security prices across multiple currencies.
• Investigate unexpected results and discrepancies rather than relying solely on system outputs or predefined status indicators.
• Develop a thorough understanding of assigned processes, including upstream/downstream dependencies, data sources, manual adjustments, control points, and escalation procedures.
• Maintain clear working procedures/checklists and incorporate new instructions or process changes into daily execution.
• Independently perform control checks to ensure market data and valuation inputs are accurate and complete before sign-off.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in daily control processes.
• Strong ownership and ability to independently investigate and resolve issues.
• Ability to learn complex processes and work independently in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Comfortable managing recurring BAU responsibilities while maintaining consistent quality and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
