Deployment & Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a Network Planner Specialist to own end-to-end inventory deployment, allocation, and network planning decisions. This role focuses on balancing customer service, operational costs, inventory levels, capacity, and waste while ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable making timely, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with planning, logistics, transportation, and execution teams to identify supply risks, resolve inventory imbalances, and improve overall network performance.

Location: Solon, OH
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: $33- 36 /hour

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Deployment & Planning

• Manage short- and mid-term inventory deployment across plants, distribution centers, and regions.

• Identify potential supply risks by analyzing inventory levels, inbound shipments, quality release status, and capacity constraints.

• Monitor system alerts, inventory imbalances, and service risks, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

• Make informed decisions balancing service levels, costs, capacity, and waste.

Order Fulfillment & Allocation

• Develop and manage inventory allocation strategies, prioritization rules, and inventory segmentation policies.

• Make allocation decisions based on customer demand, inventory availability, and business priorities.

• Manage critical allocation decisions during supply shortages while minimizing customer service disruptions.

• Communicate allocation strategies, supply risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain reports tracking key performance indicators, including service levels, waste, capacity utilization, and redeployment costs.

• Conduct root cause analysis of service failures, inventory shortages, excess inventory, and network inefficiencies.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, service improvement, and working capital optimization.

• Perform scenario modeling and what-if analysis to support planning decisions.

Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Maintain network planning master data in OMP and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Support planning system enhancements and process improvements.

• Participate in operational and planning meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, transportation, customer service, and other stakeholders to align planning decisions with business objectives.

• Use data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve planning efficiency and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand or supply planning, transportation, inventory management, or customer service/business support.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is preferred.

• Experience with supply chain planning systems such as SAP or OMP.

• Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to make timely decisions with incomplete information and prioritize practical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with inventory deployment, allocation planning, and network optimization.

• Knowledge of service-level metrics, inventory costs, capacity utilization, and waste reduction.

• Experience with scenario analysis, reporting dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics.
