PeopleSoft Business Analyst

Our client, Finance and Technology is seeking a PeopleSoft Business Analyst to join their team. As a PeopleSoft Business Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Lead to Cash initiative supporting cross-functional teams across Finance, business stakeholders, developers, and architects. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to solve complex transaction issues, the ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications, and the confidence to lead requirements and fit/gap analysis which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Durham, NC

Pay Range: $60/hr to $65/hr

What's the Job?

• Lead functional analysis, requirements, design, testing support, and issue resolution for the Finance Lead to Cash initiative, with primary focus on PeopleSoft Contracts, Billing, Revenue, and Project Costing.
• Document current and future-state Finance Lead to Cash processes, ensuring clarity across end-to-end workflows.
• Lead requirements and fit/gap analysis to determine what changes are needed in PeopleSoft and related integrations.
• Define functional requirements for PeopleSoft changes and integrations, validating calculations, accounting impacts, billing, and revenue outcomes.
• Develop test scenarios and support end-to-end testing, including SIT/UAT, defect triage, reconciliation, and production readiness.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience.
• Strong functional experience with PeopleSoft Contracts, Billing, Project Costing, and revenue processing.
• Experience analyzing custom PeopleSoft processes and integrations.
• Working knowledge of Integration Broker and interface requirements.
• Ability to trace transactions and data across Contracts, Projects, Billing, and Revenue, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
