Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their dynamic team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative cloud and distributed systems projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and evolve enterprise-level distributed applications and microservices.
• Partner with cloud services engineering, operations teams, and subject matter experts to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement API-driven services and enable containerized deployments using modern technologies.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code adhering to enterprise security and development standards.
• Document technical specifications and provide training materials to support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

What's Needed?

• Strong expertise in Python with experience building production systems.
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs using OpenAPI 3.0.
• Experience developing large-scale back-end applications and microservices.
• Ability to understand, develop, and maintain complex distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and Bitbucket.
