Senior Fraud Specialist

Our client, Industry Descriptor is seeking a Fraud Specialist/Fraud Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Fraud Specialist/Fraud Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Fraud Department supporting Fraud Detection and Prevention initiatives. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fraud Specialist/Fraud Operations Specialist
Location: Overland Park, Kansas Hybrid
Duration: 6+ months with highly possible extension / conversion
Pay Range: $19 - $21 / hr. on w2
Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time

What's the Job?

• Review suspicious customer accounts and eCommerce orders daily using available tools and resources.
• Investigate suspected fraud cases while adhering to department and company SLAs.
• Identify fraud trends, risks, and vulnerabilities, escalating findings to leadership as appropriate.
• Monitor fraud activity and recommend improvements to detection processes and controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of experience in Fraud Prevention, Risk Operations, Chargebacks, or related fields preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Mandarin preferred.
• Basic understanding of fraud risks and detection techniques.
• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
