Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of the Business Analysis Department supporting various teams involved in strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and stakeholder management abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and project success.
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and thorough analysis.
  • Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications for development teams.
  • Support testing, training, and deployment activities for new systems or enhancements to ensure smooth implementation.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Tableau, Rovo, and Copilot.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or SAFE certification is a plus.
