Oracle Essbase Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Oracle Essbase Developer to join their team. As a Oracle Essbase Developer, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Essbase applications and cubes to support business reporting needs.
• Build and support Essbase calculation scripts, business rules, and data load processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Essbase solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, data discrepancies, and system bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Essbase with enterprise data platforms.

What's Needed?

• 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience with at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on Oracle Essbase experience.
• Strong understanding of Essbase Cubes, Calculation Scripts, Data Load Rules, and Smart View.
• Good SQL skills and experience in data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to meet onboarding requirements, including a mandatory meet and greet at the closest Capgemini, Client, or onsite location.
