Our client, a leading organization in the battery technology industry, is seeking a Battery Mechanical Thermal Test Engineer to join their team. As a Battery Mechanical Thermal Test Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Battery Mechanical Thermal Test Engineer

Location:Cupertino, California

Pay Range: $45/hr - $49/hr

What's the Job?

  • Develop test methodologies to characterize the mechanical and thermal performance of battery materials, components, and cells
  • Design test protocols and standards for battery-level performance evaluation
  • Collaborate with third-party laboratories to address testing gaps and enhance testing methods
  • Work closely with testing technicians to ensure proper execution of test plans
  • Analyze and report on test results to inform engineering decisions and improve product performance

What's Needed?

  • MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience, or BS with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience developing methodologies for mechanical and thermal characterization of battery materials, components, and cells
  • Strong knowledge of battery testing standards and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
