Our client, a leader in the electronic security and low-voltage construction industry, is seeking a dedicated Electronic Security Systems Project Manager to join their team. As an ESS Project Manager, you will be part of the project management department supporting the security installation and service teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electronic Security Systems Project Manager
Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay Range: 90-115k depending on years of experience
What's the Job?
- Manage all phases of electronic security installation projects, including planning, scheduling, procurement, installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Maintain responsibility for project budgets, forecasting, profitability, and overall P&L performance.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and customer commitments are achieved.
- Coordinate engineering, field installation, subcontractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, issues, and resource constraints, and develop contingency plans with corrective actions.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within low-voltage construction, electronic security, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
