Our client, a leading organization in the engineering and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mechanical FEA Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical FEA Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Develop detailed finite element models using Abaqus CAE software to simulate mechanical, structural, and thermal performance
- Pre-process and post-process complex simulations, ensuring accurate model setup, meshing, and analysis
- Apply expert techniques and best practices for building high-quality mesh models, including manual methods and scripting for element grouping and keywords
- Develop material models using material testing data
- Troubleshoot and resolve modeling issues, refining models to improve convergence and computational efficiency
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finite element modeling using Abaqus CAE
- Expert-level knowledge of model preparation, meshing, material models, boundary conditions, and load applications
- Experience with NX CAD software for importing and exporting model geometries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
