Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Repair & Overhaul and Yield Improvement Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective cross-functional collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Rocky Mount, NC (On-site)
Pay Range: $60.82/hour

What’s the Job?

• Support yield improvement projects for the F414 EFC and EHSV product line
• Review and research technical requirements for repair development, including processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to materials, tools, equipment, and documentation
• Develop and update repair processes, overhaul instructions, and technical inspection documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to implement solutions that reduce turnaround time (TAT) and improve first pass yield (FPY)

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4–6 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related area
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status)
• Experience developing repair processes, technical procedures, or inspection instructions
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation
