Data Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity with a leading financial client for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Security Metrics & Reporting team. This role will support business decision-making through data analysis, dashboards, reporting, and operational insights within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Pay range - $46-52/hr on W2
6+ Month Contract

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and reporting skills, experience working with business stakeholders, and proficiency with Excel and BI reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and analyze data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports
• Create dashboards, visualizations, charts, and executive summary reports
• Identify trends, patterns, and business performance insights
• Support recurring reporting activities and ad hoc data requests
• Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to define reporting needs
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting documentation standards
• Assist with metrics tracking and reporting process improvements

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting functions
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret business data effectively
• Basic understanding of data governance and privacy principles

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SQL and relational databases
• Experience working within financial services or security-focused environments
