Network Engineer

Our client, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Automation Standards Group supporting plant operations and network infrastructure.  

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Warren, MI

Pay Range: $46 per hr

What's the Job?

• Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands
• Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operating systems
• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas

What's Needed?

• At least 2 years of network/systems administration or related work experience
• Knowledge of Cisco networking and experience with Hirschmann products is preferred
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or C#
• Understanding of computer hardware related to data storage
• Familiarity with configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating systems, and internet directory services
