Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and regulatory compliance industry, is seeking a dedicated Import Export Analyst to join their team. As an Import Export Analyst, you will be part of the Logistics Support Department supporting the Import/Export Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Import Export Analyst
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Pay Range: $25/Hr to $28/Hr
What's the Job?
- Support internal customers in coordinating inbound and outbound shipment processes.
- Ensure all documentation and record-keeping comply with U.S. Import & Export Regulations.
- Create Proforma Invoices and classify commodities according to HTS and Schedule B codes.
- Maintain updated FDA and other agency data, including NAFTA Certificates of Origin.
- Track shipments, follow up on logistics, and assist with compliance and audit processes.
What's Needed?
- 0-3 years of experience in import/export logistics or related fields.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, international freight forwarding, and commodity classification.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Experience with government regulations and document management skills.
