Sr Data Engineer 
Locations: Westlake, TX OR Durham, NC (must be local)
Hybrid - 50% onsite
Duration: 12 months

As a As a Senior Data Engineer you will work with highly effective squad, developing quality and scalable data solutions. You value how we work, are collaborative, and continuously seek to improve our engineering efficiency! 
 
The Expertise and Skills You Bring  

• 7+ years of experience in developing quality data solutions 
• Software development experience in the Financial Industry 
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, SQL Scripting, and database performance tuning 
• Intermediate experience in Java development is preferred 
• Solid understanding of ETL tools like Informatica and Data Warehousing like Snowflake. 
• You enjoy learning new technologies, analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns, and building solutions 
• You can independently analyze technical challenges, identify, assess impact, and identify innovative solutions 
• Strong data modeling skills using Quantitative and Multi-Dimensional Analysis 
• Demonstrate understanding of data design concepts - Transactional, Data Mart, Data Warehouse etc. 
• Beginner proficiency of in Python, REST API and AWS is a plus 
• You are passionate about delivering high quality software using DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker) practices! 
• Experience developing software using Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
